This foam to foam and foam to fabric aerosol adhesive offers complete coverage and low soak in for a better, soft, pliable bond without leaving a noticeable glue seam. Spray one side for pressure sensitive and repositionable bonding; spray both sides for permanent bonding.
- When you spray, follow the directions on the can for spraying off (tipping the can upside down and spraying or the nozzle will gunk up).
- Make sure you cover the areas you don’t want to glue or they will get sticky too. If you do over spray, white vinegar will remove the excess if sponged immediately and if the spray isn’t too thick.
- Follow the “Happy Birthday” rule. After spraying both surfaces, press together and hold the two pieces together while singing Happy Birthday or 30 seconds. The bond will be tighter than if you just press and leave.
If you are stacking latex layers on top of each other inside a ticking, they do not need to be glued, if side by side then gluing may be a good idea depending on how repositionable you want the layers to be. Latex is naturally grippy and tends not to shift when in large slabs like for a mattress, but if your project is smaller like a bench cushion, consider this glue to keep your piece from buckling when moved.
